What Is Ubtan – Facial And Body Masks

Ubtan is a mixture of sandalwood powder, haldi (turmeric), besan milk & milk cream. We all know about it. It’s our forefather skin care tip. It has been used especially by “brides”. They start applying ubton some months before their wedding.

Ubtan is a Hindi name for any kind of beauty mask/pack. Please understand people, it’s not a name for anything particular, but it means a mixture of home made things which make you beautiful. In earlier days turmeric was used widely hence most of beauty masks had yellow color and all of them have different ingredients and different properties.

It is just a name, some of the very old recipes for masks are still called ubtan. So if you have any recipe which uses turmeric/ chickpea flour and it is very old that can be called ubtan.

Ubtan is mostly applied on face, left till dried and then gently removed with fingers moving in circular motion.

Full Body Ubtan Formula (for general beauty massage):

• 4 tablespoons chickpea flower
• 2 tablespoons mustard or almond oil
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 teaspoon fenugreek powder
• 1 teaspoon wheat-germ oil
• 1/4 teaspoon rose oil.

Facial Ubtan Formula (for general facial ubtan) :

• 1 tablespoon almond paste
• 1 tablespoon cashew paste
• 1 1/2 teaspoons pistachio paste
• 1 tablespoon malai (skin of boiled milk)
• 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil
• 1 tablespoon rose water
• 1/4 cup red lentil paste
• chickpea flower (to thicken)

Mix apply, let it dry, rub off and have a lukewarm water bath.

EXCELLENT HOMEMADE UBTAN:

• Baisan 125gm
• Atta 125gm
• Haldi powder 12gm
• Sandal powder 12gm
• powder of dried orange peel 50 to 60gm

Mix them all and preserve it in a bottle. Use this ubtan daily by making paste either with water or with milk. You will see the excellent result just in two weeks.

Another Recipe:

• Haldi or Ubtan powder Ready made from market. 4tbl sp
• Baby oil 5-7 drops
• Rose water 1tbl sp
• Lime juice some drops
• Cucumber juice 1 tbl sp
• Milk for making paste.

The mixture was very good i got the best results out of it.

Amazing techniques to remove sun tan

As we all know that lemon has great quality of removing stains, dirt and can glow your skin, if you use daily. In this article I would like to share how lemon acts as sun tan removal and how you can get a very good glowing skin. For this purpose you have to need glycerine and lemon of same ratio.

After mixing these ingredients apply them on your effected skin and resin off after 15 minutes. You can apply it on your skin every day as it depends on your skin and also on amount of tan, so you can apply it a day or daily.

1. For glowing skin you have to mix sugar, glycerin and lemon in same ratio and apply it on face for about half hour.

2. One of the other way to remove tan and for your skin glowing is to make a solution of milk and lemon. For making this solution you have to need milk and lemon in 3:1, that is 3 part of milk and 1 part of lemon juice. Now after mixing this solution dip piece of cotton balls in this mixture and wipe your face with this mixture. This is better than normal cleanser available in markets, it will help you a lot. If you have tan or sun burn, then apply aloe vera gel, apply it on your face twice a day and you will turn into princess.

3. For solving tan problem take tomato pulp, and apply the juice on your face and let it to dry for a while and then wipe it off. For making this tomato pulp just puree the tomatoes according to your need.

4. You can also remove tan by mixing some of the amount of sandlewood powder with rose water and apply it 2-3 times in a week.

5. Do not forget to do manicure and remember after manicure always use a pack, you can buy this pack from market or can also make  at home by mixing sandalwood and rose water. Do this process 2 times and after every time must use sun screen.
